Islington Town Hall Council Chamber Wedding
Charlie and Jemma chose The Hawksmoor Guild Hall for their Wedding Reception. The bride and her gang started their day at The Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch for pre wedding bubbles. The wedding ceremony took place in the Islington Town Hall Council Chamber. After the Islington Town Hall wedding everyone piled into The Four Sisters Pub in Islington for drinks and celebrations. Jemma is one of four sisters so this stylish Islington Pub wedding reception venue was perfect! The Hawksmoor Guild Hall Restaurant was the final destination for the chic wedding reception.
Hoxton Hotel Shoreditch Wedding Photography
I met Jemma for natural and unposed pre wedding photography at the Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch. Jemma already looked suitably dazzling when I arrived and the discrete presence of a photographer didn’t seem to impact on any of the ladies. Just for the record, I always turn down champagne before I shoot a wedding but it’s always nice to be offered!
Islington Town Hall Council Chamber Wedding
We all grabbed taxis to Islington Town Hall and the Council Chamber. The bridal party entered the Council Chamber to the sound of Europe’s “The Final Count Down “. Jemma and Charlie were adamant on a very short family portrait session, a maximum of 10 mins on the town town hall steps. I had a pre arranged list of the family groups and the order so this was fun and straight forward.

After a lovely bride and groom portrait session we all walked the 5 minutes to The Four Sisters Bar on Cannonbury Road. This was a lovely little pit stop, perfect for cake and cocktails before the main event at the Hawksmoor Guildhall.the Hawksmoor Guildhall. The Hawksmoor Guidhall staff were on fine form and ready with glasses of bubbles and a smile. Amazing food was served, particularly if you are a carnivor and fantastic speeches followed.
