When you own and manage Hammerton Brewery and are also planning a wedding reception its not a huge leap to put two and two together. Hammerton Brewery and Tap Room is a terrific wedding reception venue in Barnsbury, North East London. The main Tap Room had a very cool mezzanine level. A marquee offered a wet weather contingency (not needed!). When not being dolled up for a wedding reception the Hammerton Brewery tap Rooms function as a bar. You can have a tour of the actual Hammerton Brewery where the beers are made – a tasty afternoon in the summer!

Barnsbury and Caledonian Road Wedding Reception

Lee and Karina tied the knot in St.Etheldredas Catholic Church in The City. St.Etheldredas is on Ely Place, a private Road. The church is huge, ancient and beautiful. I have photographed a number of weddings here over the years, it never fails to impress. Often the Wedding party go straight down stairs into the The Bleeding Heart Crypt, a very cool subterranean wedding reception venue. Who needs The Crypt though when you own a Brewery and a Bar?!

The wedding guests hopped on a bus to take them to their wedding reception at The Hammerton Brewery Tap Rooms. The sun shone, the beers were cold and all was smiles. Guests took their seats for dinner and speeches. The catering was barbecue, always a winner right? After food guests were able to wander around the huge casks and brewing rooms. Table football tables were outside along with hay bales for seating. Some of the tables were cleared to produce a dance-floor. The party had really started.
