Luxury Manor House Wedding Photographer in Somerset
Babington House wedding venue, nestled in gorgeous Somerset countryside never fails to impress. I have had the pleasure of photographing a number of weddings atbthis venue including Dominic and Dee’s three day belter. This Soho House Group luxury west country venue is a beautiful manor House and chapel surrounded by landscaped lawns, ponds and woodland. This stunning Soho House Group venue has tennis courts, an outdoor pool and even a cricket pitch. This is a self contained wedding venue where guests stay on site. This is mega convenient, getting ready for your wedding and just walking over the lawn over the chapel is a joy.

Dom and Dee invited their guests for a Friday night barbecue in the walled garden. This al fresco dinner was a delight. The tables were decorated with fairy lights and the sun set over the evening. A truly magical evening. A Saturday Babington House Chapel wedding followed with a Sunday garden party to wrap things up. On the morning of the wedding I floated about the venue. I dropped in on the bride to be, guests drinking Bloody Mary’s and the groom all in various states of readiness. Florists were busy in the chapel and a jazz band were setting up in the grounds. The wedding team at Babington House always amazes in its attention to detail. I was peckish before the service and rounding a corner I was delighted to find a bacon sarnie station. Some clever sausage had recognised the importance of eating before a long days festivities.

The cute wedding couple wanted a wedding photographer that floated about their party without too much coordinating of guests. Dee wanted a festival vibe to their three day party with gin bars and jazz bands set up in various areas.
Luxury Somerset Wedding Venue wedding Photographer
The Orangery at Babington house hosted the wedding breakfast. The restaurant at the Somerset House Group venue provided the food and even a kids menu. As the sun went down the bride groom and I nipped out for some magic hour portraits. The guests had moved through to the glamorous bar and DJ had kicked off. The party spread through the whole building, it was a spectacular wedding bash with more than a few sore heads the following day. I had driven down from London and stayed in a hotel near by so I was able to be onsite each day.
