I am a London based – Stoke Newington to be precise – documentary wedding photographer. Unposed, natural documentary wedding photography, thats my style. That is to say I prefer to be a fly on the wall rather than direct events. I try to only impact on your wedding day when gently coordinating any family group photography, confetti etc. It’s a highly personal business choosing a wedding photographer. I always suggest an initial meeting where we can talk through your plans and put together a loose timeline for your big day. The more I know in terms of ‘what, when and where’ the more relaxed and free the photography becomes. I like to be one step ahead.
The details that go into your wedding day, the flowers, the cake, table settings are all important in creating the perfect wedding scene. These details are super important to me too but its you and your guests that really make the wedding day. My style as a London wedding photographer is all about floating around a wedding capturing the fun and excitement without any posing. I dress like a guest and blend into the party.
Mr & Mrs portraits – Stoke Newington Town Hall Wedding
My approach to your wedding portraits is much the same as my approach to your whole wedding day; relaxed, discrete and low key. I will have had a thorough recce of your wedding venue and have a clear idea of locations perfect for your portraits and will have taken onboard any ideas you may have offered. A fun little wander for the two of you with no forced posing, all beautiful and natural – nothing to worry about.
Delivery of your wedding images – Hackney Town Hall Wedding
After your wedding (two weeks at most) your images will be uploaded onto your password protected online gallery. You can view and share of my documentary wedding images with guests (who can download them free of charge). You will receive a complete set of high-res images on a USB stick to print from. I usually deliver between 500 and 800 high resolution images per wedding. Every image is tweaked and optimised in a mix of colour and black and white.
Wedding Albums – London Documentary Wedding Photographer
Wedding albums come separately to my photography packages. Not every couple wants to commit to an album initially (you’re getting married, that’s commitment enough for now).
I offer a range of styles and prices. Linen and leather wedding albums and coffee table books – true objects of beauty. I can show you examples when we meet. If you prefer we can talk albums after the big day once the confetti’s settled and you’ve got time to think about it properly.
If you would like to book me as your London documentary wedding photographer then please get in touch to check my availability. We could arrange to meet face to face for a drink and a chat or jump on a Zoom or Teams. I hope you have a wonderful time planning your wedding. I would love to be a part of those plans and I look forward to meeting you.
