Huntsham Court Wedding Photographer
Delighted to be asked by Heidi and Ollie to photograph their wedding – my second stint as a Huntsham Court Wedding Photographer. This gorgeous Devon manor house, tucked away deep in the West Country, is full of history. I met Heidi and her gang in the splendid Douglas Suite, in the final stages of wedding prep – hair and make-up underway, Jimmy Choos on standby, warm winter sunshine flooding the room – a photographer’s delight!
Ollie meanwhile was with his boys, Googling how to do a Windsor Knot and cracking into the gin. Proceedings got under way and Heidi and Ollie tied the knot in front of friends and family. Confetti and family portraits followed, along with a fun Cambridge Uni group picture. As the guests made their way inside and out of the cold, Heidi, Ollie and I (plus trusty bridesmaid to keep an eye out for dress malfunctions) remained for some relaxed Mr and Mrs portraits, particularly lovely as the winter sun was dipping, creating wonderful light and shadows.
Dinner, speeches and dancing followed and with Huntsham Court being so remote the band played well into the night.
I would like to thank the bride and groom and all their guests for making me so welcome and wish them all the very best.
