Cool Clerkenwell Restaurant Wedding Reception
The Clerkenwell Kitchen is a fab restaurant and a very stylish wedding reception venue. Aifric and Mark got married at Stoke Newington Town Hall. A bus then whisked (not that London traffic enables much ‘whisking’) all the wedding party to Clerkenwell. Clerkenwell EC1 has featured in many of the weddings I have photographed. The Zetter Hotel and Zetter Town House are both super popular as is The Peasant Pub on St.John’s Street. Clerkenwell itself is ye olde, cobbled and chic – perfect for a London summer wedding.
Stoke Newington Town Hall Council Chamber Wedding
I am a Stoke Newington based wedding photographer so its fair to say I a little biased when it comes to fave London Town Halls. The Council Chamber in Stokey Town Hall is big and bright with a fun balcony, often used to seat the noisy table crew. The Rose and Crown Pub is bang opposite the Town Hall in Stoke Newington Church Street and therefore a popular wedding starting point. Clissold Park is a major draw for couples deciding on a North London Town Hall. The park is directly behind the Town Hall and full of gorgeous portrait locations.

Its always a handy when a pal runs a cool Clerkenwell restaurant. It made perfect sense that Mark and Aifric use the wonderful space at The Clerkenwell Kitchen for their wedding reception. Picnic tables and brollies were waiting covered in cocktails and champagne. The canapes that were doing the rounds looked delish, I am amazed anyone had room for the actual dinner! The dining area was particularly pretty, candle lit and romantic.
