West Reservoir Center Stoke Newington Wedding Photographer

” We’ve received your USB stick with high res photos of our wedding!
Luckily we didn’t go away this weekend, so that we could spend loads of time looking through 🙂  They are fantastic! Just what we wanted; you captured the moments of the day so naturally and beautifully!
THANKS again so much! ” – Teresa and Dave

Getting married in Stoke Newington

Teresa and Dave’s West Reservoir Centre wedding was absolutely beautiful, the sun shone and the champagne flowed. Understanding how busy us wedding photographers get, the couple cleverly booked me all the way back in May along with the sought after Rose and Crown Boutique Hotel located conveniently bang opposite the Stoke Newington Town Hall. I arrived at the Rose and Crown to find Teresa, her mum and future mother in law (along with 3 fabulous bridesmaids) having the finishing touches done to their hair and make up. Important details including the attaching of wedding bands to cuddly toys (see pix for fun evidence and explanation) and decisions on whether pashminas looked better worn on or off shoulders (when my opinion was sort I immediately deferred to bride – I wasn’t born yesterday!). I nipped down stairs to the bar area to meet Dave and the guests before we all walked over to Stoke Newington Town Hall for the service. Teresa, looking amazing, was escorted to the Town Hall by her father and I was on hand to document the short walk.

The West Reservoir Centre Wedding Reception Venue

After the service we went straight into confetti, family groups and a champagne reception back in the Town Hall building. I circulated capturing the celebrations and emotions until the guests boarded a London Bus to take them to the stunning West Reservior Centre. Teresa, Dave and I remained to take some relaxed portraits in Clissold Park and Stoke Newington Church Street. With trees full of blossom and the sun shining we were spoilt for choice when it came to locations. Once the bus had returned we all made our way to the reception held in the large Pump Room of the Reservior Centre. It was my first time shooting at this location and I was blown away by how unique the space was – any couple looking for somewhere a bit different I recommend checking it out. All in all, a gorgeous day and thoroughly enjoyable shoot, and I wish Teresa and Dave all the very best for the future.

Booking a Hackney Wedding Photographer

I am a Hackney based wedding photographer. I photograph weddings all over the UK but its fair to say most of my weddings take place in the capital. Stoke Newington is my home and I am a preferred supplier for Hackney Venues that manage The West Reservoir Centre. I take a natural and unposed approach to weddings I photograph. I prefer not to ask couples to overly pose, a little stroll is perfect for me to capture a moment. My Portfolio has plenty of weddings from the last couple of years. If you fancy learning a little more About Me and My Style then its all here.
