Natural and unposed Hackney wedding photographer
I am a Stoke Newington based wedding photographer. I regularly photograph weddings at Stoke Newington Town Hall and Clissold House. Stoke Newington has some super popular wedding reception venues including the St. Mary’s Old Church, The Londesborough Pub and The Prince Pub. Helen and Simon had wonderful expansive wedding plans for 2020. A large wedding reception for 100 guests was planned at The Peasant Pub in London EC1. Sadly Covid put paid to those plans. Rather than wait till 2021 to get married, Helen and Simon downsized and simplified their wedding. Clissold House for the ‘I do’s’ and The Prince Pub for celebrations and booze.
Clissold House Weddings
Helen and Simon arrived to Clissold Park with friends and family. Simon looked particularly dapper in a double breasted Paul Smith suit. Helen looked the bee’s knees in an Alexa Chung number and carried a stunning bouquet by Hackney florists, Rebel Rebel. It’s always going to be a gamble on weather for a London October wedding. Thankfully, luck held out and the rain held off. The Clissold House wedding team welcomed everyone and explained the short term (hopefully!) Covid social distancing rules in Hackney. Everyone except the bride and groom wore masks.
The Prince Pub N16 Wedding Reception
The Prince Pub in Stoke Newington has a cute function room on the first floor. For socially distanced and small intimate weddings The Prince Pub N16 function room is perfect. Helen, Simon and I arrived after the rest of the wedding guests. We had taken a stroll in Clissold Park for some wedding portraits. The short little walk from Stoke Newington Church Street to The Prince also provided gorgeous photo opportunities. I particularly liked the tiny alley way we found on the way to the pub – very Dickensian. Delish food and glasses of bubbles awaited the happy couple on their arrival at The Prince N16 wedding pub.
