Jenny & David – Stoke Newington Wedding Photographer

Jenny and David tied the knot in London’s Stoke Newington Town Hall on a dry but blustery Easter weekend.

I arrived at a lovely flat in N16 to find Jenny and her bridesmaids in the final stages of wedding hair and make up. Champagne and a lovely playlist made for relaxed vibes and happy times. My next stop was The Rose and Crown on Stoke Newington Church Street, a very popular pre wedding pub conveniently located bang opposite the Town Hall. David and his bestman, looking suitably dapper were meeting and greeting friends and family as the pub quickly filled up.

As David and guests made their way over to the Town Hall Jenny and the ladies arrived via black cab to be met by her dad and escorted quickly up stairs for a quick chat with the registrars. I have a particular fondness for this beautiful Art Deco Town Hall as even in the most unclement weather the light is always bright and flattering. The service went without a hitch and was followed by heaps of confetti and a swift family group photography session.

The bride and groom and I then took a leisurely stroll to the reception venue. I was taking portraits as the bride and groom walked and chatted, we arrived at The Londesborough Pub on Barbald Road N16 to be greeted with glasses of bubbles and handshakes and hugs. A wonderful meal and moving speeches followed. Wedding cakes (home made by Jenny no less) were cut and first dances danced.

I left the wonderful gang in full swing and would like to thank both Jenny and David for making me feel so welcome and wish them all the very best in the future.
