Katie and Ewen chose Stoke Newington Town Hall for their Hackney wedding and me for their wedding photography. This stylish Hackney couple made some cracking decisions in the build up to their wedding. They booked the Rose and Crown N16 for their Stoke Newington wedding night boutique hotel. Ewen and Katie also chose the Stoke Newington Town Hall for their wedding ceremony. To nail the holy trinity of Stoke Newington weddings they also booked their wedding reception at The Londesborough – thats Bingo Folks!
The Rose and Crown Boutique Guest House N16 Wedding
I met Katie and her family in the final stages of hair and make up in the Rose and Crown N16 boutique Guest House on Church Street. Katie and her gang made me immediately welcome. There was the odd glass of champagne doing the rounds and excitement was building. In the Rose and Crown bar downstairs Ewan and his 3 bestmen were organising button holes. Ewen was meeting and greeting guests while also making time for a sneaky pre-wedding pint or two.

The Londesborough Pub Wedding Reception
The wedding went beautifully with three readings, a kiss and a signature. The bride and groom wre cheered by their guests, particularly from the balcony! I love the balcony at Stoke Newington Town Hall. Often its where the noisy bunch are seated. Confetti and some family group portraits followed on the steps of the art deco Town Hall. Considering it was November the weather was amazing. This enabled the guests to make the short walk to the Londesborough Pub on Barbald Road N16. Katie, Ewan and I (+ wonderful bridesmaid I hijacked to hold a reflector) stayed behind for some relaxed and fun portraits in Clissold Park before we strolled to the pub wedding reception to join the party.

Hilarious speeches and amazing food followed. The Londesborough Pub is one of my fave London Pub wedding reception venues. The Londesborough staff are fab and the food is double delish. I quietly left the wedding reception later in the evening, the party in full flow. I would like to thank Katie and Ewan for making me so welcome and wish them both all the very best in the future.
