Wedding Photographer Stoke Newington Town Hall
Stoke Newington Town Hall, that wonderful Art Dec wedding venue backs onto Clissold Park. Pre wedding drinks usually start at The Rose & Crown pub which is opposit the Town Hall. Add a wedding reception at The Londesborough pub and you have all the making of a belter of a Hackney wedding. Claire and Ekrem based their big day around these three pillars of a Stoke Newington wedding.
Stoke Newington Town Hall has a fab main council chamber. Natural light floods the room and a balcony provides additional seating. Usually the naughty table gang sit up there! Confetti and family group portraits can take place by the art deco exit doors – the same doors the bride arrives at. Depending on the size of a wedding I sometimes bring a small ladder in order to get some height for a group picture of the entire wedding party. Unlike Islington Town Hall or Marylebone Town Hall, Stokey doesn’t have steps outside.
Stoke Newington Town Hall has wonderful Mr & Mrs opportunities. Clissold Park is next door to the Town Hall offering lush green space. Stoke Newington Church Street is also very pretty. There are cobbled back streets and fab door ways. I love using shop fronts and door ways as frames for my portraiture. My approach to wedding portraiture is super relaxed. No posing or awkward static photography. I prefer a stroll somewhere pretty while I capture natural moments. Have a look through some of the high-lights and drop me a line if you would like to chat through your own plans.
