Quirky East London Wedding Venues
This was a fun and low key Sutton House in Hackney Wedding. Sutton House in Homerton is a National Trust property and a real gem of a wedding venue. The magnificent Tudor house has beautiful oak panelled rooms and original carved fireplaces. There is a charming courtyard, which provided the perfect setting for a grand group photograph. Weddings at Sutton House have a period drama feel to them. The whole building is ancient and creaking, full of history.

Evening spring sunshine poured into the main chamber as the bride and groom walked themselves down the aisle to exchange vows. There was a small and intimate crowd of guests a beautiful mix of friends and family. A terrific meal followed, which was rounded off with a series of fabulous home-baked (by the groom no less) cakes & treats.
