I live in Stoke Newington and love a wedding at Stoke Newington Town Hall. Stoke Newington Town Hall is one of my fave wedding venues. The Council Chamber has a fab balcony – somewhere to sit the ‘naughty table’ guests. High sky lights in the Council Chamber insure flattering light in all conditions. Stoke Newington Town Hall is part of the Hackney Venues group. I have had the privilege to photograph all their venues including Hackney Town Hall and The West Reservoir Centre.

Clissold House Wedding

Clissold Park provides a wonderful opportunity for Mr and Mrs portraits. The park is directly accessible from Stoke Newington Town Hall. Bang opposite the Town Hall is a lovely pub called the Rose and Crown, a perfect pre wedding meeting point. Stokey has no shortage of cool pub wedding reception venues. The Londesborough and The Prince N16 are both a short walk from the Town Hall. Recently The Clarence Pub started providing a cute function room and great food – defo worth checking out.

The Old Chapel is amazing, The Londesborough, The Prince and The Clarence are all super friendly Pub wedding reception venues and also super delicious! Just over the border is into Dalston is Jones and Sons in Gilett Square, well worth a look as they have a cool function room at the back for a DJ/band to set up in.
