London Thames Wedding Reception Venues
Trinity Buoy Wharf is a wedding reception venue with a Light House. That puts it in the ‘hens teeth and unicorn’ bracket of London wedding venues. Trinity Buoy Wharf is located bang opposite the Millenium Dome/O2 arena on the Isle of Dogs. Once upon a time the Wharf was a working dock with warehouses and fore mentioned Light House. Now Trinity Buoy Wharf is a terrific event space managed by Urban Space Events.
Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding Reception
Freya and Andy tied the knot on The Elizabethan, a Thames Paddle Steamer. The wedding party motored up the Thames from Greenwich, underneath Tower Bridge (always a popular portrait spot) finally docking at Tower Of London. Buses picked up the glamorous gang and dropped them off at the river side terrace venue. The Chain Room is a large converted warehouse perfect for a wedding reception. Huge doors open onto the terrace overlooking the O2. The barn doors enable air to flow around the venue – it was a hot hot day!

Freya and Andy were keen for unposed and informal wedding portraits. A relaxed wander around Trinity Buoy Wharf and the Light House gave me ample time grab some portraits while the guests enjoyed a cocktail. Benches were set up along the river so the guests had fantastic views across London as the sun set behind Canary Wharf.
