Trudi and Ed set the bar high for their Stratford upon Avon barn wedding. Stratford Upon Avon Town Hall hosted the wedding with the wedding reception held at Alveston Pastures Farm. The lovely couple actually live not far from me in Islington, North London. In the lead up to their big day we met a few times and discussed plans over a cold beer. Pre wedding meetings to go through details are always necessary, as is cold beer.
Stratford Upon Avon Town Hall Wedding
I met Trudi in the final stages of wedding prep. She, her mum and her bridesmaids all looked fab and relaxed. A little later I dropped in on Ed and the fellas enjoying a pre wedding tipple. We all walked over the Town Hall where wedding guests were arriving. A traditional high tea had been prepared with finger sandwiches and vintage china. This tea party reception was a really nice touch and set the tone beautifully for the whole day. The wedding went without a hitch and before long the newly minted Mr & Mrs were celebrating with confetti and high fives.
Alveston Pastures Farm Wedding
Alveston Pastures Farm is a short bus ride from Stratford Upon Avon town centre. The Alveston Pastures Barn was fully decked out ready for the wedding reception. This is a wonderful Stratford upon Avon Barn wedding venue. There is plenty of outdoor space for cocktails and games plus kids dashing about. Trudi and Ed and I nipped into the stunning fields for some magic hour portraits. Speeches and dinner followed along with dance floor madness later in the evening.
