Wedding Photographer Marylebone Town Hall
As a London documentary wedding photographer, Marylebone Town Hall is always a treat to photograph in. February weddings in London can be a chilly affair, not so J & A’s wedding bash, spring, definitely has sprung early in 2019. The Landmark Hotel, located bang opposite The Old Marylebone Town Hall, marked the starting point of this small and intimate London wedding. A pre wedding family group photography session on the ornate stairs of the Landmark Hotel meant that more time could be spent on confetti and Mr & Mrs portraits outside the Town Hall, a clever idea to get the family and friends groups done ahead of time, the Landmark Hotel being very accommodating in that the wedding was not actually being hosted there.
J looked absolute dynamite in a Needle & Thread London frock during the short walk to Marylebone Old Town Hall for the wedding ceremony. Al is a soldier and looked particularly dapper in his military get up, campaign meddles sharing space with stunning button holes, made by J’s talented mum. The Westminster Room at Marylebone Town Hall can seat up to 100 guests and is light and bright, wood panelled and inviting. The service was quick and slick and before long The newly weds descended the steps of Marylebone Old Town Hall covered in confetti and surrounded by loved ones. The wedding party made their way to the river for reception and drinks while the bride and groom and I remained for some relaxed portraits using the time usually spent on family groups. The fab columns and classic architecture lend themselves beautifully to wedding portraiture, particularly a military wedding such as this.
