London Town Hall Wedding

Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding

Kevin and Stephanie had their wedding and surprise gender reveal at Old Marylebone Town Hall. It was third time lucky for this couple as Covid had bumped their last two dates. I arrived early (‘on time’ is late for a wedding photographer. Check out My Style to see how I like to work.) to meet guests arriving for this intimate London Town Hall wedding. Kevin arrived and appeared not to know me despite having met a couple of times in the lead up to the wedding. It turns out Kevin had an identical twin brother! The real Kevin arrived soon after looking dapper and excited.

Stephanie arrived looking absolute dynamite. She and her father went straight into the interview room while the guests sat down in the Westminster Room. A Day to Remember – the wedding team behind Old Marylebone Town Hall run a tight ship. The registrars did their job and before long Kev and Steph walked out of the Westminster Room as man and wife. The corridors in this town hall are wonderful for portraiture. Pools of light fall on the wooden panelled walls – absolute heaven for a wedding photographer.

Confetti at Marylebone Town Hall

The happy couple (plus baby bump) entered a cloud of confetti and celebrations on leaving the town hall. The gorgeous old steps outside are perfect for family group portraits and a big ‘everyone’ picture. On this occasion not only did we celebrate a wonderful marriage we also had a gender reveal – my first at a wedding. Confetti canons with either blue or pink confetti were fired to reveal the babies gender, (spoiler alert) it was a girl!

I left Kev and Steph and all the guests to enjoy a sumptuous meal at The Landmark Hotel. Huge congrats to the wonderful couple and thanks for making me so welcome.
