As a London documentary wedding photographer I regularly photograph weddings at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. I had the privilege of capturing Jan and Pauls big day in my usual relaxed, reportage fashion. Jan and Paul chose The Old Marylebone Town Hall as their wedding venue. The reception hosted by The Montcalm by Brewery London City. I met Jan at her apartment in Clerkenwell, hair and make-up in final stages. A very welcome platter of sarnies being offered around – much appreciated Jan!

Jan’s stunning wedding frock hung beside her daughters super cute bridesmaids dress. A London Black Cab arrived to whisk us all off to The Old Marylebone Town Hall. Paul and the guests were arriving, not a cloud in the sky – amazing and crazy weather for October in the UK.

Jan and Paul tied the knot in front of their daughter, friends and loved ones. The newly minted Mr & Mrs emerged into a cloud of love and confetti on the steps of the Marylebone Old Town Hall. After a fun family portrait and Mr and Mrs portraits we all boarded a vintage double decker bus taking us to the wedding reception at The Montcalm at the Brewery in the City of London.

Glasses of bubbles and fab canapes welcomed the guests and before long it was time for dinner and speeches – hilarious and moving in equal part. After a stunning cake was cut Jan and Paul took to the dance floor before being joined by all the gang.
