Londesborough Pub Wedding Photographer
I met Jon on a sunny Friday in the Vineyard Pub on Islington’s Upper Street conveniently situated bang opposite Islington Town Hall – the venue for Jon & Ceci’s wedding. The pub gradually filled with a wonderful gang of family and friends, a glam Swedish contingent (Ceci’s people) mixing happily with Jon’s UK crowd.
I have captured many a wedding at Islington’s Town Hall over the years but Ceci and Jon’s wedding is up there as one of my faves. Hearing ‘Some where over the rainbow” sung immaculately (and by heart!) by a talented young guest bought goosebumps to all who attended.
Ceci and Jon emerged from the Town Hall to confetti and celebrations, a vintage red double decker waiting to whisk the party off to The Londesborough Pub in Stoke Newington for the reception. The Londesborough Pub in Stoke Newington maintains very high standards when it comes to food, drinks and service. Pimms and bubbles awaited the wedding party and after a fun group pictuire in front of the pub the party proper got under way.
During dinner everyone was entertained with a veritable smorgasborg of speeches, grooms, aunties, mother of brides, father of brides and best men all got in on the act – amusing and moving. I left the terrific party in full swing and would like to thank both Ceci and Jon for making me so welcome.
