Chelsea Town Hall wedding photographer
Chelsea Town Hall is an iconic wedding venue. Located in, (wait for it..) Chelsea this fab London wedding venue has officiated the weddings of Mick Jagger, Marc Bolan and Hugh Grant. Georgie and Dan were in a long line of amazing people to have their wedding at Chelsea Town Hall. Like many other couples G & D downsized their wedding plans due to the pandemic. Therefore an intimate group of family only arrived to Kings Road, umbrellas in hand. All the London Town Halls that I regularly photography weddings at run a tight ship. River Cafe Wedding Reception
Confetti on the steps of the Chelsea town is always a wonderful moment. Although summer rain was really coming down G & D were all smiles. While the Chelsea wedding party waited for cabs, the bride and groom and I had a relaxed little stroll around the back street for some portraits. I happen to love a romantic bride , groom and brolly photograph. Some of my all time fave weddings have been in the rain. The weather should never be a used as a reason for bad wedding pictures! Taxis took us all to the world renowned Rive Cafe in Hammersmith for a private dining wedding reception. Portraits on the tow path beside the Thames were a must.
Getting married in Chelsea
The River Cafe in Hammersmith produces world class food. The private dining room hired a clear view into the kitchens and prep area which was amazing. To see the uber talented chefs hard at work was a real treat. I stayed with the wedding party long enough for a few fun family pictures and then left them all to enjoy their party. A huge thank you goes out to Georgie, Dan and their families for making me so welcome.
