Chelsea Old Church is a wonderful London wedding venue. The Chelsea landmark was bombed flat by naughty Germans during the Second World War but rebuilt in grand style. The stunning interior and huge balcony all play into the hands of a London documentary wedding photographer. There is plenty of room to move about discretely and the balcony provides a stunning alternative camera angle.

The Thames and Chelsea Bridge offer a fantastic back drop for Mr and Mrs portraiture. Chelsea Old Church is literally situated on the banks of the Thames so its very convenient. I often ask newly weds to have a wander along the river while I capture relaxed and unposed portraits. Chelsea has plenty of choice when it comes to wedding reception venues. The Hurlingham Club is a mile or so away and The Garden Museum is just over the Thames on the South Bank.
