The Rosewood Hotel in Holborn London is a perfect luxury 5 star hotel that’s amazing for wedding photography. This five star central London Hotel deserves all the praise and recognition it gets as one of London’s premiere wedding venues. It’s quite simply an iconic London wedding venue. The Rosewood Hotel is glamorous and elegant. Katherine, Dave and their stylish guests fitted in beautifully. This London luxury Hotel is one of my favourite London wedding venues. The Rosewood 5 star Hotel can be hired for the wedding reception or as the host for an entire wedding. It’s particularly tricky to get around London as the roads are always grid locked. Therefore I love the convenience of a one venue wedding.

I arrived to Katherine’s suite to find the bride-to-be looking relaxed.  A bottle of bubbles was open (that might have had something to do with it…)and the bride was in the final stages of wedding prep. Katherine had asked a close friend to do her hair and make-up. It’s always handy to have a super talented make up artist as a bezzy! The sun shone as I nipped down to the famous Scarfes Bar to meet Dave and guests enjoying a pre wedding tipple.

The wedding took place in a large room beside the Rosewood Hotel Ballroom.  The Ballroom was already decked out in splendid style for dinner and dancing later in the day. Dave and Katherine became Mr & Mrs in front of friends and family and to great cheers. The bride and groom and I then made use of the sunshine and took ourselves off for a brief portrait session. There are no shortages of amazing portrait locations in The Rosewood Hotel. The corridors are elegant and stylish and the marble staircase is Magnificent, capital M!

At the Rosewood Hotel is Amazing (capital A!) for wedding photography. You are spoilt for portrait locations with a magnificent marble staircase and mirrored corridors at every turn. After a relaxed stroll we then all returned to the celebrations for confetti and family group pictures, all of which went swiftly and smoothly. The cobbled court yard at The Rosewood was perfect for family group photography. The outdoor bar also meant no guests went thirsty and canapes did the rounds. Dinner and speeches followed in the Ballroom; the menu was very tasty and the speeches were moving and amusing in equal measure. After the delicious wedding cake was cut the band kicked off for Katherine and Dave’s first dance. Shortly after, the dance floor filled up and remained full for the entire evening!

I left the wonderful couple later in the evening and would like to thank them and all their guests for making me so welcome. Also thanks to the Rosewood Hotel staff for running such a tight ship.
