Humanist weddings in Sussex woodland
Sussex is a very beautiful county. I love the countryside and I’m a wedding photographer. All the signs were there that this was going to be a great wedding. Antony and Lucy had a small and intimate legal wedding in a registry office. The real party was a few weeks later in a stunning Sussex woodland. The weather was a real factor in this Sussex countryside wedding. There were hay bales for seating and a humanist minister and an out door bar. Non of which would not have reacted well to a down pour. Thankfully the sky was clear and the day was a monumental success.

Sussex garden marquee wedding
Lucy and Antony tied the knot (again) and celebrated with confetti and Aperol Spritz (perfect combo) in a woodland clearing in Sussex. The entire wedding party party made their way to a wonderful marquee in the family garden. The bride and groom travelled in style in a 4×4 buggy, the rest of us used our legs. An enormous amount of time had gone into the marquee decoration. The supporting poles of the Sussex wedding marquee were wreathed in ivy and interwoven flowers. There were Fairy lights hung in the ceiling of the marquee and a stage was ready for the excellent band.

I am always blown away by the details that go into a wedding day, such as the place settings that all had hand embroidered napkins. Hand embroidered, the time that takes! The wedding speeches were a hoot and soon the dance floor was packed with guests. This was a banger of a wedding, I loved it. If you are planning a Sussex Countryside wedding and looking for a home counties wedding photographer I would love to hear from you. I take cool, unposed and natural wedding photographs. Drop me a line to check my availability.
