Clissold House Wedding Photographer
Having lived in Stoke Newington for over a decade now it was my absolute pleasure to finally shoot a terrific wedding for Kate and Iain at the beautifully renovated Clissold House in Clissold park N16 – scene of many a playpark and footie session for me and my bambinos. The lashing rain that had been hammering it down all day magically lifted and the sun shone in the afternoon at just the right moment. The groom and guests met downstairs at The Rose and Crown on Albion Road while upstairs in the boutique B&B the bridal party got ready. The intimate service took place at Clissold House, sunshine streaming in through the windows. Thankfully there was no need to put the wet weather contingency plan into action, we were able to take stunning portraits and family groups in the open air.
It was back to an old favourite, The Londesborough, for the reception with a series of relaxed portraits taken on the walk between the park and the pub. As always The Londsborough staff had decked the interior out with fabulous decorations including a staggering amount of origami. As we get closer to winter we lose light early so we organized a large group picture outside the pub immediately as we arrived, though I think some kind soul delivered a couple of glasses of fizz to Kate and Iain for a well deserved tipple.
The usual fantastic standard of dinner, speeches and dancing ensured and I slipped away around 9.30, leaving Kate and Iain and all their guests to enjoy the rest of their night. A huge thank you to Kate and Iain for asking me to shoot their gorgeous wedding, I wish them both all the very best in the future.
