Coin Laundry Exmouth Market Wedding Reception
Jamie and Simon had their first date in Exmouth Market’s The Coin Laundry so it made perfect sense to return to this romantic Clerkenwell setting for their wonderful winter wedding bash. I particularly love it when a couple sculpt a wedding to suit their own style rather than automatically following a traditional wedding format. It was a privilege to capture the moment this wonderful couple walked into the Islington Town Hall Council Chamber together to become Mr and Mrs. The wedding day started in The Vineyard Pub opposite the Town Hall. The Vineyard is a super convenient meeting spot for an Islington Town Hall Wedding.
Getting married in Islington Town Hall
The Council Chamber was the wedding venue, circular and wooden panelled and super stylish. I love the light in the Council Chamber and the marble corridor and staircase is always a crowd pleaser. Under clear blue skies, confetti was thrown and taxis waited to whisk the wedding party to London’s Exmouth Market for the champagne reception at The Coin Laundry. Jamie, Simon and I took a more leisurely stroll, stopping occasionally for portraits.

The Coin Laundry looked fabulous, candle-lit and inviting. This London bar is split over two levels and tips its hat to cool Americana – pinball tables and old school cocktails – a perfect choice for a Texan bride! Guests celebrated with champagne and cocktails until a delicious dinner was served and speeches commenced. I left the party in full swing, the dance floor packed. I would like to thank Jamie and Simon and all their family for making me so welcome and wish them all the very best in the future.
