Clissold House Stylish Hackney Wedding Venue
Jo and Joe chose Clissold House, in Stoke Newington for their socially distanced wedding. Out went the big party plans and in came a beautiful, small and intimate Clissold Park wedding. I have been fortunate to photograph a number of weddings at Clissold House and am a preferred supplier for Hackney Venues. Hackney Venues manage a number a magnificent wedding venues including Hackney and Stoke Newington Town Halls. Stoke Newington is my home. I can therefore say, with some authority say that this Hackney gem of a wedding venue is perfect for a cool and stylish Hackney wedding.
Award Winning Hackney Wedding Photographer
Jo arrived to Clissold Park in a black cab with her father. The gate opposite St.Mary’s church is a convenient spot as the path leads directly to the rear door of CH. Joe and the wedding party were waiting in Clissold House, sadly guests in masks. It was policy that all guests and suppliers (including me, your photographer) had a face mask. The bride and groom are exempt from face mask wearing, always a relief when it comes to kissing!
Stoke Newington Wedding Photographer
During the ceremony the main room was limited to 11 guests plus the two registrars. I was able to keep the door of the room open and capture the proceedings from the hall way, not ideal but it did provide a completely different view from normal. A guest kindly stepped out of the room to enable me to nip in to grab a lovely image of J & J signing the register. Sadly confetti is currently not allowed so after the wedding we all gathered to the rear of CH for some fun family groups photographs.
Clissold Park Weddings
Clissold Park is in Stoke Newington. The pretty green space has a couple of ponds, some weeping willows and the awesome Clissold House. I happen to live in N16 and regularly walk my daft Labrador around Clissold. My kids learnt to ride their bikes in Clissold and I (sometimes) jog around the outside. I am therefore something of an expert and know all the best places in Stoke Newington for relaxed and natural portraits.
Hackney Pub Wedding Reception Venue
The wedding party made their way to The Clarence Tavern for some Stoke Newington Private Dining. J, J and I remained for a little wander around Clissold Park and Stoke Newington Church Street. I like unposed and relaxed portraits, we also stopped for a cheeky Guinness at The Old Shillelagh!
