The Garden Museum is a fabulous London wedding reception venue. It is located on the Southern end of Lambeth Bridge with stunning views over the Thames, Big Ben and Parliament. I have been fortunate to photograph a number of wedding receptions at this central London wedding venue. When I say ‘Central London’ I really mean it. You can be in Parliament Square in one direction or Waterloo station in another in 5 minutes.

As London wedding reception venues go, The Garden Museum is a hard to beat. The main banquet room has a balcony running around it which is always very useful for documentary wedding photographers. The split level room is perfect for speeches and often hosts art exhibitions that run in tandem with wedding receptions. This is lovely for guests to view while enjoying canapes and glasses of fizz. As you might expect, The Garden Museum has beautiful gardens with seating and space for wedding parties to spread out.

Mr & Mrs portraits are always a highlight and the Thames offers a terrific back drop for portraits. The Garden Museum gardens are an additional bonus with loads of wild flowers and dappled sunshine. Here are some images from Imogen and Glens wedding bash at St. Helens Church in Bishopsgate. It was hosted the wedding with buses laid on to ferry guests across the Thames to The Garden museum.
