The Londesborough Pub is a cracking wedding reception venue. Stoke Newington Town Hall is a convenient 10 minute walk away. As a result, The Londesborough Pub is very popular wedding reception venue with bookings up to a year ahead. What makes this Hackney Pub such a popular wedding reception venue is the food, staff and service all of which are top notch.
The Londesborough pub can happily take 100-150 guests. In the summer, weddings often spill outside to the pub benches on Barbauld Road. There is a cute little beer garden at the back of the pub, useful for sneaky smokers. The food at The Londesborough is amazing. If I shoot a wedding for 6 hours or over I usually grab a bite during the wedding meal. A little Londesborough foody tip for you, everyone goes for the lamb but dont overlook the fish cakes!
The Londesborough as a wedding reception venue retains its pubiness. Guests happily lean and chat at the bar. The Peasant Pub in EC1 is the sister pub to the Londesborough – same owners.
