The Gun Pub Wedding Photographer

Julie and Dan planned a belter of wedding, starting on the Friday in the Woolwich Town Hall, a quick and intimate marriage in front of immediate family followed by a Saturday of merriment with a blessing on the ‘Elizabethan’ Thames Paddle Steamer followed by a terrific reception at The Gun Pub situated bang opposite the O2 Arena on the London Docklands.

It’s rare to cover so many forms of transport in one day but, believe it or not Julie and Dan managed a taxi, a train, a boat and double decker bus – pretty impressive! The Elizabethan is a wonderful river boat on-board which the happy couple exchanged vows in front of a loving crowd of family and friends. The Elizabethan steamed up and down the Thames passing all the London biggies, The London Eye, Houses of Parliament & Tate Modern finally docking at Canary Wharf where vintage Route Masters waited to ferry the wedding gang to The Gun Pub on the Isle of Dogs where Pimms and Champagne awaited.

The Gun Pub always hosts a fabulous wedding reception, the food and service is excellent. After a sumptuous dinner the speeches got under way, hilarious and moving in equal measure. With the talented two-piece band set up Julie and Dan stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance, by the quality of their moves it was clear some lessons had been attended – there was even a lift!

I left the party in full swing and would like to thank both Julie, Dan and all their guests for making me so welcome.
