Lucy and Rich got married in Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing. This wonderful London Manor House wedding venue is surrounded by a pretty park and attached to a cool little art gallery. The Manor House has a sumptuous interior with various rooms available for weddings, perfect for 50 or so guests. A stunning winding staircase leads to my fave room The Upper Drawing Room. This stylish space has hand painted wall paper and polished floor boards but it’s the quality of light that really fires me up. Tall Regency windows let light flood in on both sides producing beautiful, flattering and natural tones.
Getting Married in Pitzhanger Manor
I have had the great pleasure of photographing a number of weddings at this stylish West London wedding venue. The Manor House has a gorgeous Conservatory overlooking the park with stain glass windows. This long and narrow room is perfect for a small wedding and the rest of Pitzhanger Manor can be hired for a drinks reception. The Georgian Eating Room is on the ground floor and had direct access out into the open air for alfresco drinks.

Sitting beside the Georgian Manor House is a walled garden with a huge and ancient wisteria and wild flower beds. This attractive space is most often quiet and I always enjoy a stroll around with the couple for portraits. Walpole Park surround the Manor and has a cute little pond with a fairytale bridge and yet more stunning wisteria. For wedding portraits opportunities Pitzhanger Manor really steps up!
West London Documentary Wedding Photographer
It’s probably time I walk you through Lucy and Rich’s big day. Rich and family had arrived early. I’m always early to a wedding (on time is late in my books!) so I was on hand to float about and capture natural pictures of the flower girls practicing. Lucy arrived with her father and bridal party. She looks absolute dynamite, with barely a cloud in the sky Lucy walked over to meet her fella and tie the knot.
West London Manor House Wedding Venues
The wedding ceremony was in the Upper Drawing Room at Pitzhanger Manor. Two talented guests sang and played guitar whilst the flower girls charmed the whole wedding. I’ve mentioned how I love the light in this room. We were blessed with warm autumnal sunshine, a rare thing in London in September! After the wedding drinks were served the bride, groom and I nipped out for a ten-minute stroll for portraits. I take a natural approach to wedding photography and always have an attractive route for a walk planned in advance.
