Claudia & Joe Kew Gardens Nash Conservatory Wedding Photography Petersham Nurseries Wedding Reception
Claudia and Joe tied the knot under a beautiful Huppah in the Nash Conservatory in London’s Kew Garden’s followed by a wedding reception at Richmond’s Petersham Nurseries. On a stunning sunny Friday morning Claudia arrived to Kew Gardens in a black cab with her mum on her arm. Wedding guests were seated, flower girls at the ready and Joe was waiting patiently to get married.
With autumn sunlight streaming into the Nash Conservatory, Claudia and Joe said their vows and finally, with the Jewish ceremony complete they became man and wife. What I love about photographing a Jewish wedding is the immediate break into celebrations and dancing, Claudia’s mum and Joe’s parents started the dancing that led to the bride and groom being raised on chairs – the happiest kind of wedding bedlam one can imagine!
After a fun group picture the entire wedding party boarded a vintage double decker bus to Petersham Nursery in Richmond. Petersham Nurseries is a stunning wedding reception venue, nestled amongst plants and flowers and all things gardening (all for sale) tables were laid and the wedding cake displayed. Champagne awaited the wedding party and after a fun and relaxed family portrait session by the Thames, Claudia, Joe and I nipped into the pretty meadow beside the venue for some Mr & Mrs portraits.
Dinner and speeches followed, heartfelt and amusing in equal measure. I left the wonderful party once the cake was cut and would like to thank Claudia, Joe and all their family for making me so welcome.
