Kent Castle Wedding

Scarlett and Simon chose Hever Castle in Kent to host their fabulous summer wedding bash. Formerly the home of Anne Boleyn, of Henry VIII head chopping fame this wonderful castle is now a wedding venue like no other. Sited next to a picturesque lake the Italian Gardens were decked out in flowers, courtesy of @theflowersmiths.

Stylish Hever Castle Wedding

Simon, looking suitably dapper waited with his best-men, ushers and guests as Scarlett and her father walked the red carpet. The sun shone and a ‘tickle of a breeze’ kept everyone cool. The ceremony went by in a flash and before long Scarlett and Simon were surrounded by celebrating friends and family with a glass of bubbles in their hands.

Hever Castle is a photographers dream location with portrait opportunities everywhere you look. The new Mr and Mrs and I chose to have a little wander about in the grounds while I captured relaxed un-posed portraits. We returned to dinner and speeches, hilarious and moving in equal part. Cake cutting, DJ and dancing all followed and I left the fab couple with a packed dance floor and stacked bar.
