Rachel and Stuart chose the fabulous Gaynes Park in Essex to host their summer wedding bash. Gaynes Park in Essex is a particularly stunning Barn Wedding Venue. The wedding venue is quite remote and rural, meaning no late night party music sound issues! The surrounding countryside is beautiful and great for a stroll for Mr and Mrs portraits. The cute wedding couple chose the Orangery at Gaynes Park to host their wedding. There are options for outside weddings if you are brave enough to trust the fickle weather though. Stuart and Rachel are animal lovers and their pets played a big part in the wedding day. The sun shone as the ladies had the final touches made to their hair and make up. Stuart and fellas arrived looking suitably dapper. The bar in the main bar was open so everyone was happy!

In a slight break from tradition Rachel, Stuart and I + two special guests (a Shetland Pony and a gorgeous black Labrador) had a little portrait session before the wedding ceremony. The rolling countryside around Gaynes Park is magnificent and well worth a stroll around. One of my fave portraits of the couple was a quiet moment when they were leaning on a farm gate having a chat. This is my favourite style of wedding portraiture, natural and unposed. Then it was straight into the Essex barn wedding held in the Orangery at Gaynes Park. The service was beautiful and the new Mr & Mrs soon found themselves with a glass of bubbles while surrounded by celebrating loved ones.
