Alice and Karolyn Lassco Wedding Photography

A trio of cracking London venues for the lovely Alice and Karolyn. The Deck at The National Theatre on London’s South Bank (Alice please note special attention paid to proper grammer) played host to their wonderful, emotional ceremony, followed by a short hop to Maltby Street Market, home of Lassco – a restaurant and reclamation yard combo (who knew!). The day started in Chiswick, I arrived to a bustling home stacked to the rafters with flowers, confetti, hair, make up artists and family. Alice and Karolyn were already looking terrific, no visible nerves, and Alice’s mother was heroically coordinating events. Three amazing vintage cars were waiting outside to ferry us all to the National Theatre, the weather was dry and bright – happy days.
The wedding cars arrived at just about the same time – slight sat nav issues. With guests already seated, and after a moving reading, Alice and Karolyn tied the knot to cheers and celebrations. After a fabulous confetti moment we took some family group pictures using the amazing London skyline as a backdrop.
Next stop on our London wedding tour was Maltby Street Market, very close to Tower Bridge. Alice and Karolyn had hired the uber-cool
Lassco, a wonderful restaurant and vintage bazaar. The restaurant couldn’t have been more romantic, subdued lighting and candles made for a very intimate and private party space – a real treat for a photographer! After some excellent speeches, champagne and cocktails arrived and the evening celebrations began. I left the wonderful couple amid dancefloor carnage and made my way back to Stokey. I would like to thank Alice and Karolyn for making me so welcome and wish them all the very best for the future.
