In a woodland beside a beautiful little Sussex lake a Humanist celebrant married Lucy and Anthony. This alfresco humanist woodland wedding was a privilege to photograph from start to finish. Lucy got ready at the family home while Anthony (Woolfy to his pals) nipped off for a pre wedding livener. With the guests seated on hay bales Lucy and her father arrived on a little 4×4 – pimped out with flowers and ribbons for the wedding. In a cloud of flower petal confetti the bride and groom celebrated their wedding with glasses of fizz and delish looking Aperol cocktails. A relaxed family group portrait session followed along with some Mr & Mrs portraits beside a cute little boating pond.

The wedding party moved into a truly amazing marquee decorated by Caroline Martin, a hugely talented relative of Lucy’s. Dinner and speeches followed, hilarious and mortifyingly embarrassing in equal measure – well done best man!

The band kicked in and the dance-floor filled as I left the fab couple to enjoy the rest of the evening. I would like to say a big thank you to Lucy and Anthony and all the guests for making me so welcome and wish them the very best for the future.
