Getting married on a farm in Sussex
Georgie and I have been pals for some time so it was an extra special honour to be asked to capture this amazing Hawthbush Farm alfresco wedding in deepest West Sussex. Hawthbush Farm is a fabulous location for a wedding. 140 acres of eco friendly farmland dotted with beautiful cottages and gypsy caravans all available to rent, not to mention the stunning woodland and outdoor hot tubs.

I met Georgie and her bridal party mid morning, the sun was blazing and everyone was relaxed. Hair and make up was in the final stages and bottles of fizz were doing the rounds. Rick and the fellas, all looking suitably dapper and having made sure the (all important) casks of ale were in working order, nipped to the pub for a quick pre wedding pint.

A beautiful woodland glade set out with benches and amazing flowers awaited the lovely couple where they tied the knot to cheers and applause.With the guests on their way to the barn for drinks and canapes, the bride and groom and I took advantage of the wonderful grounds for some portraits.The weather held long enough to get back to the barn for dinner (a very tasty paella) and speeches.

I left the party late that evening with the dance floor absolutely chocca. There were no neighbours for about zillion miles so the party could well still be going!
