Becky and Don arranged a belter of a London wedding, starting in Greenwich and ending in brilliant sunshine at Trinity House, a fabulous grand building in the shadow of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

The wedding day kicked off at the beautiful and historic St. Alfege Church in Greenwich. Becky looked every inch the beautiful bride as she arrived in a vintage Citroen (that once upon a time was her actual family car). Becky walked down the aisle with her proud father, looking suitably dapper in top-hat and tails whilst Don, his best men and ushers were all handsomely dressed in traditional kilts. The service went by in a flash and when we exited the church the morning rain had cleared and the sun was shining – happy days.

Confetti and a quick family group portrait session followed before we all walked through Greenwich town center to hop on a boat and cruise down the Thames to Tower Bridge and the reception venue – Trinity House.

Trinity House is a rather splendid building just a short walk from Tower Bridge Pier, where we disembarked. With a large and ornate ball-room, capable of seating well over 150 guests, and a wonderful staircase leading from the lobby, Trinity House is a real London gem of a wedding reception venue.

A whopper of a ship’s bell (origionally from HMS Brittania & rung by the bride and groom) announced dinner was served. Speeches followed the meal, amusing and moving in equal measure. Becky and Don soon found them selves surrounded by loved ones for their first dance, I left the awesome couple to party hard and would like to thank them and their guests for making me so welcome.
